For November AHA The New Bedford Historical Society will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Johnson House and of the New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park. Visitors to the park will be able to get a passport stamp commemorating the 30th anniversary visit celebrating local history.Please note the change in time due to daylight savings time.

Nathan and & Polly Johnson House will be open for guests from 5:00 – 6:30 PM on AHA November 12. Visitors will gather at this historic abolitionist landmark, connecting its powerful legacy with the courage and activism that define the space.
The New Bedford Historical Society links the city’s ongoing commitment to freedom, culture, and expression while saving historic spaces.
After AHA 11/12 the house will be closed except by appointment only until the spring.
